A Full Stack Senior UX Designer based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. I have a passion for creativity and a knack for problem-solving with research. My journey began in a traditional graphic design role with side hustles in photography, and blogging. I have been privileged in the ability to embrace a mobile lifestyle through these work streams, working on the go with my dog while exploring new places.
I hold a BFA in Art & Design with a focus in Graphic Design and Photography, along with a minor in Mass Communications from Minnesota State University Moorhead. My career kicked off at Flint Communications as a production artist, mainly working on print literature pieces and ad campaigns with the occasional website landing page as a reward for my tight print layout work. The limitless possibilities of digital content and dynamic layouts captivated me quickly steering my path from print to the digital world. My digital experience began with converting all of 3M's consumer brand emails from photoshop slices to responsive html templates combining my front end development skills with design. This naturally lead to looking at website content and flows, and the rest is history.
Whether it’s simplifying complex B2B interactions or enhancing B2C journeys keeping both the business user and end user in mind, I’m dedicated to creating intuitive, engaging, inclusive designs. I truly don't know what my title should be, I've been broadcasting Full Stack UX but I could be considered CX or a Product Designer currently. Each day brings a new challenge in my current role and I'm fortunate to have the flexibility where needed.
Dog mom to a crazy Australian Shepherd named Maddee who is also my greatest challenge.

My Process Toolbox
I’m skilled at pivoting when necessary, embracing new ideas, and iterating swiftly on designs to deliver outstanding user experiences. My resourcefulness allows me to find innovative solutions, even when faced with tight deadlines, limited resources, or complex challenges. I thrive in dynamic environments where quick thinking and adaptability are essential.
I focus on visual hierarchy to guide users’ attention and emphasize key information or actions. Consistency is key to maintaining a seamless experience, while accessibility ensures the design is usable by everyone. I strive for aesthetic appeal that enhances engagement without compromising functionality. By continuously iterating based on user and client feedback, I aim to refine designs that are not only visually striking but also highly effective and user-friendly.
I thrive in collaborative environments, working seamlessly across teams while maintaining a strong sense of individual drive. I’m proactive in communicating my plans and progress, ensuring everyone is aligned before diving into focused, independent work. This balance allows me to contribute effectively to team goals while managing my own tasks with precision and autonomy.
Effective project management is key in UX design. I gather brand requirements, set up meetings with stakeholders including product and engineering teams, and oversee designers to ensure projects are on track. My structured approach includes coordinating cross-functional teams, managing timelines, and balancing creativity with strategic planning to deliver user-focused, high-quality results on time and within scope.
Work History
While design is my main gig, I have always held a passion for photography. I love film and the darkroom, but digital mirrorless has been a game-changer. I am now a Sony Alpha lover. I specialize making others feel comfortable in front of the camera, capturing genuine emotion. Additionally all of the photography on this site are my own except for one. Can you guess which?
